In Decem­ber of 2020, HAI host­ed a webi­nar fea­tur­ing Jim Panos, Senior VP of US Mar­kets for EduCo Inter­na­tion­al Group, a 400-employ­ee orga­ni­za­tion based in Aus­tralia whose pri­ma­ry focus is recruit­ing, con­vert­ing, edu­cat­ing, and grad­u­at­ing inter­na­tion­al students.

EduCo has devel­oped best prac­tices around inter­na­tion­al stu­dent recruit­ment and Jim shared these strate­gies with atten­dees. Jim also pro­vid­ed insights on the cur­rent recruit­ing envi­ron­ment and made rec­om­men­da­tions that US insti­tu­tions can imple­ment mov­ing for­ward to ensure they con­tin­ue to (or begin to) enroll a diverse and tal­ent­ed pool of stu­dents from mar­kets out­side the US.
