NACAC 2023

Sep­tem­ber 21 — 23, 2023, Bal­ti­more, MD

The Nation­al Asso­ci­a­tion for Col­lege Admis­sion Coun­sel­ing (NACAC) con­vened in Bal­ti­more for their nation­al event, wel­com­ing pro­fes­sion­als in col­lege admis­sions and enroll­ment man­age­ment to dis­cuss the lat­est issues and inno­va­tions in the field. 

AIR Forum 2023

May 30 — June 2, 2023, Cleve­land, OH

The Asso­ci­a­tion for Insti­tu­tion­al Research (AIR) holds an annu­al forum that is the largest glob­al gath­er­ing for pro­fes­sion­als work­ing in high­er edu­ca­tion insti­tu­tion­al research, plan­ning, and assess­ment. Our ses­sion, ​“How a Code-Free Ana­lyt­ics Plat­form Can Make Your Job Eas­i­er”, demon­strat­ed how Alteryx Design­er can be used to stream­line cum­ber­some data report­ing, for both inter­nal and exter­nal pur­pos­es. This includ­ed a live demo and a review of two use cas­es. The first was how fill­ing out the CDS and IPEDS sur­veys can be auto­mat­ed, with the fig­ures cal­cu­lat­ed in min­utes. The sec­ond use case was an inter­ac­tive enroll­ment dash­board that tracks appli­cants, admits, and net deposits in real time and how these fig­ures, includ­ing class com­po­si­tion and finan­cials, com­pare to pri­or years. And, how embed­ded pre­dic­tive mod­els fore­cast where your insti­tu­tion will land by cen­sus across the met­rics that mat­ter most.

NACAC 2022

Sep­tem­ber 22 – 24, 2022, Hous­ton, TX

The Nation­al Asso­ci­a­tion for Col­lege Admis­sion Coun­sel­ing (NACAC) brings togeth­er 7,500+ pro­fes­sion­als in col­lege admis­sions and enroll­ment man­age­ment. The 2022 con­fer­ence theme was Resilience, which focused on per­se­ver­ance dur­ing chal­leng­ing times in col­lege admissions.

Alteryx Inspire 2022

May 17 – 19, 2022, Den­ver, CO

Our ses­sion, ​“Empow­er­ing Col­leges with Self-Ser­vice Ana­lyt­ics”, demon­strat­ed how high­er ed insti­tu­tions can use Alteryx Design­er and Tableau to become self-suf­fi­cient when it comes to devel­op­ing data-dri­ven strate­gic enroll­ment plans. Alteryx Inspire — Amer­i­c­as is a nation­al con­fer­ence that brings togeth­er data experts, lead­ers, and inno­va­tors in the ana­lyt­ics space across industries.

EACUBO 2022 Spring Gathering

March 27 – 29, 2022, Philadel­phia, PA

HAI’s CEO and Co-Founder, Emi­ly Cole­man, pre­sent­ed along­side Alan Caniglia from Franklin & Mar­shall Col­lege and Dave Cap­i­tano from Bak­er Tilly for a ses­sion called, ​“Data-Dri­ven Strate­gies for Enroll­ment Man­age­ment”. The East­ern Asso­ci­a­tion of Col­lege and Uni­ver­si­ty and Busi­ness Offi­cers (EACUBO) hosts events for mem­bers in high­er edu­ca­tion to share new ideas and best prac­tices that busi­ness offi­cers can bring back to their institutions. 

Alteryx Inspire 2021

May 16 – 18, 2021, Vir­tu­al

We teamed up with the Uni­ver­si­ty of Day­ton for a pre­sen­ta­tion called, ​“Stream­lin­ing Cum­ber­some Data Report­ing in High­er Edu­ca­tion”. Dur­ing this ses­sion, we dis­cussed how Alteryx Design­er can be lever­aged to make report­ing to agen­cies like IPEDS and CDS effi­cient, straight­for­ward, and precise.

The Con­nec­tion

Feb­ru­ary 23 – 25, 2021, Vir­tu­al

Our CEO, along with oth­er high­er ed lead­ers, was invit­ed to be a speak­er for a round­table dis­cus­sion dur­ing The Con­nec­tion con­fer­ence about the effect of the COVID-19 pan­dem­ic on prospec­tive stu­dent per­cep­tions and behav­ior. Their ses­sion cov­ered the lat­est trends and how insti­tu­tions can respond dur­ing times of uncer­tain­ty and rapid change. 

Women and the Future of Work Symposium 

Decem­ber 2 – 4, 2019, Wash­ing­ton, DC

Emi­ly Cole­man, HAI CEO and Co-Founder, was a fea­tured pan­elist for a ses­sion enti­tled, ​“Trans­form­ing Your Work­places for Women and the Future of Work”. Cat­a­lyst brought togeth­er lead­ers across indus­tries for this event, which was host­ed by Lock­heed Martin.
