n June of 2020, HAI Analytics partnered with Alteryx to deliver a webinar designed to share resources, knowledge, and solutions that help institutions succeed during uncertain times brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
Hitting enrollment and retention goals has always been a challenge and COVID-19 has only magnified this challenge. It is now more important than ever to have easy access to data, reports, and forecasting models that will keep institutions informed about where their numbers stand. In this webinar, we discussed ways to automate data analysis and report generation in Alteryx Designer so that schools have the information the need, when they need it.
We covered how analytics can empower higher education organizations to better navigate the disruption by developing new models to optimize:
- Student retention
- Net tuition management
- Financial stability
During this 30-minute webinar we demonstrated a retention model in action used to predict and influence first-to-second year retention by changing the amount of financial aid awarded to students.
